Product Description
Amherst Hot Stripper is a tool designed to remove polymer coatings from within 40mm of the end of silica optical fibers, in preparation for fusion splicing. The configuration of this tool accepts Fujikura fiber holders for fusion splicer. The standard blade assembly will strip coatings from 150um to 900um O.D. from fibers with 125um cladding diameter.
Power supply and fiber holder are not always available.
